Be sure to check out EDM videos from Skrillex, Tiesto & more as a part of our Electric Summer celebration!
This week definitely dragged a tad, don’t you think? God Bless all of you who returned to your regular routine after surviving Ultra. The abundance on new music definitely kept my energy on a level 10…along with the assistance of sugar-free Red Bull!
Out of all the new music, Iggy Azalea snags my award for ultimate swag vixen! Her newest video “Work” is anything but mundane and full of eccentric outfits strategically synced with the song’s lyrics. Iggy, we’d all love to “Walk a mile in these Louboutins,” but we’ll leave that to you. Her sporty chic ADIDAS CLASSICS Jeremy Scott inspired look totally exudes Gwen Stefani- “Hollaback Girl” right? All Azalea needs is a crew of Harajuku girls doing choreography in the background.
Speaking of Iggy Azalea- oh hey A$AP Rocky! Hands down, Wild for the Night is going to be Spring’s hottest club banger. If there’s a rapper out there that knows his fashion, it’s for sure Rocky. How else would he have known floral is the “IT” trend for Spring!? In a floral Balenciaga button-up and bomber jacket combo paired with those infamous Jean Paul Gaultier glasses and all white everything else, I’d jet straight to the DR to rage with him and Skrillex …I mean why not!
Or I could totally be the third wheel with Mac Miller and Ariana Grande. Cute couple alert! (Let the rumors start…now!) This girl has a voice to DIE for, but most importantly, the cutest style sense ever. Balloons, polaroids, and a boy in a Coogi sweater? YES please!
What do you think of these videos? Would you dare to dress like these artists? Let me know whose style you love or just stop by and say hi!!
Until next week.
The 2013 Ultra Music Festival is shaping up to have a stellar lineup. Expected so far are Azealia Banks, Snoop Lion, Skrillex, Sleigh Bells, Zedd and more!
MC Exclusive Interview: Rubblebucket
The Camp Bisco 11 music festival brought in so many talented acts that it was a challenge to decide which stages to follow throughout the day. However, it was no problem to choose Rubblebucket as a can’t-miss artist for the three-day festival. After their set, we got a chance to catch up with Rubblebucket’s leading lady, Kalmia Traver.
After some small-talk (didja know her cousin The M Machine toured with Skrillex and were both at Bisco?) , it was time to get down to the nitty-gritty of Rubblebucket…
