Back to School Fashion according to Robin Thicke’s Give it to You

Robin Thicke has been the topic of conversation over the past couple days and I’m pretty sure already know why!  But let’s not let those poisoning images of unfortunately twerking and stuffed animals stray us from why we’ve grown to love Mr. Thicke:

1.     Blurred Lines- great freaking song!

2.     It doesn’t hurt when you have something good to look at.

3.     He just released a phenomenal music video for his newest collaboration with 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar

This music video is full of twerking cheerleaders (step aside Miley), minimal clothing, and an unforgettable cameo from his 3 year old son, Julian! (How cute!)

Here are three looks from the video that definitely will turn heads at school:

Pinned Stripped Blazer with a White Tee:

This combo is calm, cool and really relaxed. Robin chose to accessorize with a gold chain and aviators which certainly brought this look to a different level. Paired with skinny black jeans, dress pants or denim jeans, you’ll look crazy, sexy, cool amongst the crowds.

Knee High Socks:

Ladies,-trying to get away with wearing short shorts or a mini skirt? Have your attempt be less obvious by matching your bottom of choice with knee high socks. I’m a personal fan of navy socks, but if you’re feeling wild and crazy, opt for a colored pair to spice up your day!

Stripped Pants:

Lose the matching jacket and these jeans will work wonders for your reputation! Too much of one print will give you and everyone else a major headache.

Ladies and fellas- Match your stripped pants with a plain white tee, a jean jacket and Converse sneakers. Ladies- if you want to get fancy, swap your Converse for a killer pair of ankle boots!

Give it to you can be heard on our HHRB channel and check out Robin Thicke features in our Take Back Your Music campaign!

Which look will you be rocking for Back to School?!

Until next time-
